Study finds: White children far more negative about interactions with different races than Black children.
Is anyone actually surprised though?
These are the children of the adults who were raised by the people who fought to keep Jim Crow alive. These children are being raised by the offspring of men and women who lynched black people for sitting on the wrong side of a restaurant; the very people who fought to keep segregation alive and killed Martin Luther King Jr.
So by all means, I doubt we needed a study to prove this fact true.To add to the above argument:
Even if the child is raised in a household where race is NOT a topic of discussion the child will still pick up on Racial Micro Aggressions. If you have never spoken ill of black men, yet you clutch your purse or lock your windows when one is around; your child will notice that and process “black men are dangerous”. If you discuss how you don’t like when people get tans and have darker skin your child will process “dark skin is ugly” and it doesn’t help that the mass media the child is watching also projects this notion that white is the standard of beauty and those who do not adhere are deemed ugly and unworthy. If you don’t associate with people of color or keep any relations short and brief?; your child will too.
Many parents fail to realize that their children are ALWAYS watching them, always. Just like baby ducks following their mama, a child follows it’s parents. It’s a survival tactic for a child to copy the adult and bring the caregivers characteristics into their own being. You may think “oh he didn’t say anything” or “he’s playing he’s not listening to my conversation”; but he is. Which is why many people turn out like their parents or develop similar parenting styles.

Okay it is 8:22am in the morning so calm down bitch. But anyway, women have been showing their bodies along with their musical talents SINCE DAY ONE! There’s nothing wrong with flaunting your body, if you’re proud of your musical talents as well as your body THEN SHOW IT! (plus race plays a big part on how people view musicians and their actions)
And here you have white women showing off their bodies while still being artists. I don’t remember anyone going crazy over these outfits, (maybe someone did over madonna idk I was probs like 4 at the time) the only reason they flippin’ on Nicki is because she ain’t no damn plank
Conclusion: Let that bitch do what she wants to do, you don’t have any place saying what that women should be doing with her body. Stay in your lane.
im so confused by all of this
i need to learn to not press play on every video.
by Shaadi Devereaux I’m sitting on a plane now, in my flyest pair of kitten heels, hoop earrings, and a Hollywood Glam Lena Horne inspired rollerset to die for. The guy behind me refused to let me even begin to lift my luggage, before jumping up to stow it. I’m an unapologetic Black Trans woman who loves letting men hold doors for me almost as much as I enjoy decimating them in the boardroom. I make no qualms about my love of being a femme, even as I plant my stiletto square in the eye of cisheteropatriarchy. Coming down from…
Hey Guys! I wrote a piece for Black Girl Dangerous. Take a look and let me know what you think!
Blackfoxx killing it as usual.

in grade 8 french we were talking about napoleon bonaparte and this guy bought up the letter that napoleon wrote to his wife where he was like “i’ll be home soon, don’t wash” basically saying like he wanted to have sex with her unbathed or whatever and i was like “oh ew french people are so horny” and this girl tapped my shoulder and was like “excuse me..my dad is french, are you trying to say he’s horny??” and that’s when i truly knew white people are crazy
I’m so freaking sick of cancer. If you’re a frequent viewer of natural hair videos on YouTube, I’m certain you’re familiar with the dynamic duo @msvaughntv and her sister, @meechymonroe. Meechy was recently diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer & the family has created the #getwellmeechy campaign in hopes of helping with some of the expenses. I have placed the link in my bio for easy access but if you have anything to spare and believe in the power of prayer, please send one up for this family so that Meechy can recover with ease. Additional deets via @strawberricurls IG (REBLOG this you guys; lets do our part and show some LOVE): REPOST FROM @strawberricurls: Meechy’s momentum was cut short on May 31, 2014 when she was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma (or vascular cancerous tumor) in her brain. The tumor caused Meechy to suffer multiple mild strokes, which have led to certain physical and speech challenges including an Aphasia diagnosis (a disturbance of the delivery of language – not at all linked to a loss of intelligence). On May 30th 2014, Meechy underwent her first of two brain surgeries. It was this craniotomy which actually revealed the tumor. In preparation for the procedure, rather than lose her hair, she had it carefully shaved, preserved and donated to Locks of Love—a not-for-profit organization which focuses on Cancer patients coping with hair loss. < amazing to be so giving in her own time of need! Prayers up! #getwellmeechy https://www.giveforward.com/fundraiser/x155/-getwellmeechy-medical-expense-fund
I wish we didn’t have to raise money to convince the insurance companies to allow the doctors to keep people alive.
